How We Choose Our Stock

Our fine art prints are available on twelve different types of stock, three of which are gallery-wrapped fabric. Each option is evaluated based on archivability, printability, and overall beauty. We combine our stock with giclee printing, and fade-resistant ink, to give you a fine art print that will survive for at least 150 years with proper care.

Fine art prints are a great alternative to purchasing an original work of art. To keep our prints authentic, we print them on paper that best reflects the original artwork’s medium. For example, watercolor paintings are printed on textured paper, whilst photographs are printed on the smoothest baryta paper available. Are you considering purchasing artwork produced using metallic paint? Printing on metal-infused paper or canvas will keep the depth and shine you’ve come to expect.

The best part is that we’ve already done the legwork. Inside our Collection Builder tool, our artists have combined each artwork with the greatest potential stock and frame combinations. When you use the Collection Builder, you’ll see a drop-down menu with all of the conceivable combinations that we’ve determined the artwork will look best on. The end result is a beautiful fine art print that you are guaranteed to love.
